Outdoor G Scale Layouts

This train layout is in phase 1 of construction. The homeowner had already designed the track plans and levelled the yard. We were called in to complete the layout. The pvc piping is screwed into a 5" wide channel that is sunk into the earth. Then the ballast was put down. The 6 foot track sections are bent to shape and then set in place. Stainless screws secure the track into the pvc. Finally a top layer of ballast is put down to finish the look and secure the track.This track loop is about 140 feet around.
