Norwegian Pond Sailboat
This is a pond sailboat from the late 30's - early 40's.
It spent the last twenty years baking in an attic and as a result the finish on the deck has curled and cracked.
However, between the cracks we could tell there was a beautiful wood grain.
Using museum-grade chemicals and lots of hand labor the decks are being stripped to a reveal a beautiful grain.
Our seamstress made a new set of sails for this two-masted schooner and every bit of rigging thread was replaced as it was crumbling to the touch.
