This is a 1/48 Plastic Dewoitine D520 Airplane from Tamiya. Its first flight was October 1938. It flew with the French Air Force until German occupation. It was used by Vichy and Free French Air Forces until the end of the war, as well as by the German Luftwaffe as a trainer. FEATURES: Single liquid-cooled engine, single seat fighter. Hispano-Suiza 935hp engine, long nose with cockpit set well behind wing trailing edge, 437 produced before fall of France. Highly detailed 1/48th scale plastic kit for static display. Markings included for 2 Armee de l'Air and 1 Free French aircraft. Approx. 50 parts in light grey and clear with fine recessed panel lines. Optional propeller spinners, detailed radiator bath. Wheels have separate hubs for easy painting. Separate exhaust stubs may be added after fuselage is painted.
