Heinkel He 100V-8 'World Speed Record'. Late 1930s German 'super-pursuit' fighter prototype with high-speed short wings. Kit features detailed cockpit, recessed panel lines, 1-piece injection-molded canopy, photo-etch parts (instrument panel, seatbelts/harnesses, rudder pedals, main gear doors, door actuators, gear position indicators, oleo scissors and canopy handholds) and film instruments. Decals/painting guide for V-8 in 2 schemes: Overall natural metal with sealed seams, World Speed Record (463.9 mph), 30 March 1939 Propaganda 'Military' finish of overall RLM 02 with temporary code '42C+11'.
