With two floors and over 7,000 square feet of hobbies, Hobbymasters, Inc. is one of the largest and oldest hobby stores in the country. The building's 2 story lighted mural has become a must-see when visiting Red Bank. Inside there are 2 floors (handicap access with elevator) packed wall-to-wall with all of the categories you see listed here. Joint NACA-USAF rocket powered supersonic research aircraft, enlarged 2nd generation with smooth faired canopy. Kit features recessed panel lines, injection-molded 1-piece canopy, detailed cockpit, separately molded rudder, 2 optional tailplane types, 2 optional wing types, resin parts (main wheel wells, ventral blister, and heating data test ailerons), and photo-etch parts (seatbelts, rudder pedals, and further fine details). Decals and painting reference for 4 schemes worn by the single X-1B s/n 48-1385: Reaction Control System tests Rogers Dry Lake, 1957-58; prior to Reaction Control wing modification, Edwards Dry Lake, September 1957; aerodynamic heating data tests, Rogers Dry Lake, September 1956; and as delivered by Bell factory, Edwards AFB, July 1954 - includes stencils.
