Just recieved my Garrett Metal Sand Scoop today and was anxious to try it out, I think it is well made except the front scooped edge is extremely sharp. The metal edge should have been filed smooth, istead, it is unfinished ahd jagged. I would not let a child or youngster use this item. I'm debating on returning it or just filing the edge myself. Other than that, I feel it will do a good job. For $39.00 I'm hoping it doesnt rust after using it at the beach with the salt sand.
